General Information
     1) There are 6 terms in a year. Each term is 8 weeks.
         (You may enroll for 4 weeks.)
     2),Morning : Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
          10:00-12:50 (4 days a week, 3 hours a day)
        ,Afternoon and evening classes will be available only with a
          minimum enrollment of 4 students per section.
          (Class times and hours are flexible and can be discussed 
           with the Director.)
     3) Class size : maximum of 10-11 students

The Curriculum

Level 1
Students are taught the Korean alphabet system, pronunciation and basic conversations such as greetings, self-introduction and shopping.
Level 1 grammar includes particles, verb usage, conjugations and proper use of the numbers.
Level 2
Students will be able to form longer sentences as they learn more complicated particles, tenses, ending forms and joining clauses. Students will be able to express personal experiences and plans on topics such as the four seasons and traveling.
Level 3
Students in level 3 are presumed to have the basic knowledge of Korean and will learn to express themselves in more complex and various situations. Students will learn grammar such as passive speeches, causative speeches and indirect speeches to form longer and more complicated sentences.
Level 4
Students will be able to discuss about beyond the every day life situations and learn to assert opinions about various topics. The knowledge of the Korean culture and customs is widened. Imitation sounds, proverbs and informal speeches are also taught.
Level 5
As students reach higher levels, newspapers, radio broadcasts, television and movies are included in the curriculum. Students will be able to discuss specific topics and learn the nuance of grammar patterns and characteristic Korean expressions.
Level 6
Students will be able to solve problems about the Korean language on their own and comprehend articles on literature and specialized topics in the highest level. Furthermore, they will be able to improve their writing skills.

Additional information
     1. During the first week from the beginning of the term,
          the schedule or level can be changed with the permission
          of the teacher.
     2.There is a minimum enrollment of 4 students per class.

       For those unable to enroll in the regular program,
        individual classes and visiting lectures are available.
       Those who are interested can study individually or in groups of 2-3   students.

    Course Contents
      According to students' requests, classes are available for free-talking
      conversation, pronunciation, listening, Chinese characters,
      newspaper articles and Korean history.
      Regualr class contents are also available.

    1) Special programs are available for students wishing
        to learning Korean  during a short visit to the country.

    2) These programs are offered during the following dates :

    3) Programs run for 1,2,and 4 weeks.
    4) Programs are canceled if there are less than 10 applicants.
